Bot -
Born from a constellation seen by alien eyes on an alien
world, Bot is the is the ultimate of cybernetic sentient life. She is composed
mostly of silicon based nanite technology and is impervious to all elemental
conditions. Bot, in every intent and purpose, is a real female bottlenose
dolphin.. exemptions are that she doesn't require nourishment or rest.
Bot is still developing social interaction skills so, for a time, her reaction
to the world around her may seem peculiar, but know that she's really trying
to fit in and make our pod the BEST in the universe! =)

Technical information:
What IS a nanotech anyways? Well, to put simply, a nanotech
is a sub-microscopic form of sentient life that works collectively with
other nanotechs to produce and maintain a common goal. In this application,
Bot.
Nanotechs have the ability to:

Get essentially every atom in the right place by processing
and manipulation.

Make almost any structure consistent with the laws of physics
and chemistry that we can specify in atomic detail.

Have manufacturing ability not exceeding the available raw
materials and energy.

Self Replication.
Bot is composed entirely of nanites suspended (free swimming)
in a colloidal solution. Collodial being defined as: a substance that consists
of particles dispersed throughout another substance which are too small
for resolution with an ordinary light microscope but are incapable of passing
through a semipermeable membrane. Bot's nanites are silica based and therefore
need quartz, a major component of sand, to carry out their life processes.
