POD Login Process
Once you have a connection to POD, you pass through several
subsections that will create your account.
Username/Nickname
This is the name you wish to be known by on the POD
(limit 12 characters in length, no symbols or numbers).
If the name has already been taken you will get a
"Password:" prompt and you should simply press [ENTER]
and choose another name.
Requesting an account
All new users enter our pod at the OUTCAST level.
To be promoted to our next level, TRANSIENT, you need
to follow 1 easy step. After which a brief
interview may be performed by our adphins.
To request an account you do the following:
type .accreq youremail@yourdomain.com
• eg, if your e-mail address is phin@dolphin.com, you would type:
.accreq phin@dolphin.com [ENTER]
Please be sure to enter the correct address as falsfication of your email address
here is grounds for account termination. Use of 'freemail' accounts to register
an account is not acceptable and such requests will be declined. If you don't have
a real e-mail address, discuss it with the adphins and hopefully something can be
worked out.
